As activity has ramped up over the last few months, we're getting a lot of new registered users - this is good.

However, I'm noticing some people who were already registered are registering again (with similar usernames). This isn't really a problem, however if you had posted with one username and want to post more, you may like to continue doing so under your original username. However, seeing one person with three or four versions of the same username, and several "alternate" email addresses not complete registration within minutes of each other isn't good. In order to register a new username, you'll need an email address that you can get to and verify your registration.

Since a lot of people tend to use their work email address for logging in, this can be a problem if you change agencies. A good idea is to use a separate email address that will stay with you if you are to go somewhere else.

Also, sometimes we forget our passwords. Since you only need to log in to CLPEX for posting or PM purposes, many people go years between logging in. If you forget your password, you can hit the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a box to send a message to the administrator. This will go to Boyd. Either he or I can usually take care of it. We can give you a temporary password to sign back into your account (assuming you know your username or we can figure it out). Then you can go into your profile and update your password, email address, etc...
