Good Afternoon,
Other than CARON humidity chamber, what other humidity chambers do you all use in your labs/have used in your labs? Preferences on one brand vs another?

I think Caron is probably the best value out there right now. Anywhere I've been it's always a matter of what can you afford once you consider not just the chamber, but the water supply and filtration resources that you may or may not have.

Re: Humidity Chamber
Thanks. We currently have a caron water recirculator (not sure of spelling) from our old chamber. The equipment we inherited broke a couple years ago and couldn't be fixed because what was bought, was a prototype that ended up not being put into circulation, thus no parts to have to fix it. We have been using the trusty "forensic iron" since then for ninhydrin. Hoping we have money in the budge to get a humidity chamber though.

Re: Humidity Chamber
We are using the steam iron technique as well.
I can't remember where I read or head this (maybe Brian Dalrymple?), but apparently a t-shirt press works amazing with flat paper items. We haven't tried it yet but it makes sense.
