FORMS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED: King County Application Form and Applicant Data Sheet,
Self Screening Questionnaire and ten 8” x 10” photographs as defined below.

WORK LOCATION: The King County Sheriff’s Office Photo Lab at 400 Yesler, in downtown Seattle.

WORK SCHEDULE: Typically Monday – Friday, day shift hours (8 – 4) with some flexibility and
overtime.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: Produce and edit photographic images and digital media for communication products, displays, exhibits, presentations and evidence for court proceedings, annual reports and the media.
· Operate cameras, light meters and lighting equipment to create original photographic and video images.
· Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency repair of laboratory equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems.
· Provide evidentiary and forensic photography for the department as requested.
· Consult with customers regarding their photographic vendor services.
· Recommend vendor selection and monitor vendor performance.
· Monitor photographic inventory, supplies and other record systems.
· Evaluate and recommend the purchase of equipment, software and supplies.
· Provide digital media production services.
· Work in settings that may be sad, gory, smelly, tense, dirty, difficult, cold or hot.
