Amicus and Appellate Thoughts

As some of you know, I'll be talking about what amicus curiae do and how a group or organization might get involved in appellate cases at IAI in Boston. As I finish up my outline and powerpoints, I thought I'd see what, more specifically, might interest you as audience members.

I expect to include the various Patterson amicus briefs in the materials. I will also likely include a couple of other examples from cases to give a broader idea what sort of things one might see in an amicus brief. I'm not aware of other amicus briefs on fingerprint issues, but if folks have examples, please let me know.
