SWGFAST QA Guidelines for Latent Print Examiners
Does anyone know how many swgfast members voted on this? I'd also be interested in knowing what the final tally on the voting was (but I'm sure that isn't available).

Voting on the QA document
Michele,
The exact voting and related discussion is confidential within SWGFAST, but I can answer a few general questions for you.
SWGFAST documents require a 2/3 membership vote for approval. This high standard is to insure that views in documents represent the consensus, and therefore that these are considered consensus standards by the community.
The SWGFAST membership at the relevant date was about 37.
The document was approved.
Other than that, I can't offer additional detail, but I hope this helps.

Kasey,
Thanks for responding.
Theoretically 25 people would need to be present to conduct a vote? And would more than a 50% 'yes vote' mean passing (theoretically 13 votes could pass a document)?
Thanks,
