Training Classes

The Texas Department of Public Safety at their training academy in Austin, Texas is offering the following classes.

Basic Fingerprint Comparison 36 hours 04/16 to 04/20, 2007

Latent Print Comparison--Intermediate 36 hours 08/13 to 08/17, 2007

Latent Print Comparison--Advanced 36 hours 05/14 to 05/18, 2007

The cost is $300 per class and includes meals and room at the Texas DPS Training Academy located at 5805 North Lamar Blvd.

In checking with the Texas Police Association and the Texas DPS these classes are open to Law Enforcement personnel from other States. There is also a list of other TPA classes.
