Anybody home in paradise?

Aloha.

A co-worker will be travelling to Hawaii on business in the next few weeks.
He and his wife will be spending a week on Oahu, and are then looking for a less-populated island to do some snorkeling, scuba diving and hiking.

Does anybody have any ideas on what island they can travel to, and what types of accomodations are available to them?
