Visual acuity and/or comparison tests used for hiring

Post by Heather Baxter »

Good morning,

Are any agencies utilizing any type of comparison and/or visual acuity test as a tool for the recruitment process? This would be for a new examiner, without previous comparison experience. If you are and would be willing to share the information, please let me know.

Thanks!

King County uses a comparison test as part of the recruitment process. People who pass the requirements of the application are invited to take the test.

RS&A has a test for that:

Disclaimer: I do not work for, nor do I get any kickbacks from, nor have I seen this type of test from, RS&A.
